The foundation of Wurzer Construction wasn’t poured in an office; it was built on job sites across the country. Andy Wurzer began his career under the mentorship of his father, Lauren Wurzer, learning the value of hard work from the business end of a broom. By starting with the basics—sweeping floors and mastering the fundamentals of the trades—Andy developed a deep, firsthand respect for every detail of the construction process.
Over the years, that hands-on labor evolved into leadership. Andy rose through the ranks to become a seasoned Project Manager, overseeing complex builds and refining the precision required for high-stakes commercial and hospitality projects. When the time came to establish Wurzer Construction, Andy didn’t just bring a business plan; he brought a lifetime of field-tested expertise.
A Passing of the Torch
In a unique turn that defines our family-first philosophy, the roles have come full circle. Today, Lauren Wurzer has “passed the torch” to Andy, joining the Wurzer Construction team to contribute his decades of industry knowledge. Having his father’s veteran perspective integrated into the company allows us to blend modern construction technology with the timeless wisdom of a master builder.
